Anyone out there in the lion dance world play to hard that your drumstick(s) broken in half?
It happened to me during a big performance during CNY 2010 =/. |

| It happens. After a couple times, we now always have an extra pair of drumsticks sitting right next to the drum at any show, big or small. Remember, always prepare for the worse, but hope for the best. |

| It is to do with the grain of the wood tough I have seen one that broke like a 'fatigue' failure. That's why the fibre sticks are so popular. With the decimation of the tropical rainforest, tropical hard wood is getting harder to come by & I tend to preserve those that I have. |
