Some of you may laugh at this but I thought I would share what I've been doing lately. Since we have many shows with kids and I have kids lions, I have started using a candy chang instead of traditional lettuce.

You can get a green bag from a party store and fill it with lucky candy. The bag can be left on the ground or hanging. It's fun because it is like a pinata and the candy can fly really high and far. It also makes cleaning up much easier. Smile

Have been doing these for years. A great crowd-pleaser, esspecially for the kids. Although we set it up a little differently, the results are the same...raining candy on the kids! haha

We spit them out tough they tend not to get too far...the problems with this isthat in NZ it is not recommended as this cause a 'lolly scramble' with potential for kids to hurt themselves ..health & safety gone a bit mad.

That's true. the first time we did this the lion totally missed the throw and it dropped at the feet. It was like a pinata. The kids all swarmed the lion.

Now, we are pretty good and can get a nice even shower into the crowd.
