Some of you may laugh at this but I thought I would share what I've been doing lately. Since we have many shows with kids and I have kids lions, I have started using a candy chang instead of traditional lettuce.
You can get a green bag from a party store and fill it with lucky candy. The bag can be left on the ground or hanging. It's fun because it is like a pinata and the candy can fly really high and far. It also makes cleaning up much easier.
Thoughts? Hopefully, the pics will come through.

| Have been doing these for years. A great crowd-pleaser, esspecially for the kids. Although we set it up a little differently, the results are the same...raining candy on the kids! haha |

| We spit them out tough they tend not to get too far...the problems with this isthat in NZ it is not recommended as this cause a 'lolly scramble' with potential for kids to hurt themselves ..health & safety gone a bit mad. |

That's true. the first time we did this the lion totally missed the throw and it dropped at the feet. It was like a pinata. The kids all swarmed the lion.
Now, we are pretty good and can get a nice even shower into the crowd. |
