Vincent,
Does the LD team choose one of the 4 patterns to mount and dismount or can they mount on one end exit on another? _________________ Swift as the Wind. Quiet like the forrest. Fierce as a raging fire. Immovable as a mountain.

So the floor plan they have on the website is only for audience to buy seats? The jong drawings is not indicative to the actual layout of the patterns available? _________________ Swift as the Wind. Quiet like the forrest. Fierce as a raging fire. Immovable as a mountain.

They mount on one end and can exit from any of the 4 just as long they pass trough the centre of the 'X'.
Vincent, yes the floor plan is for ticket buying but the jong drawing shown is the actual pattern. BTW are you going? |

Thanks George. Is that pass through the center or just get to the center? _________________ Swift as the Wind. Quiet like the forrest. Fierce as a raging fire. Immovable as a mountain.

| Hi SD, I am not sure what you mean, but basically the lion starts from 1 set of poles and can go anywhere/part of all 4 pole sets just as long as during the whole performance it reaches/steps on the centre set of poles. The chang can be set at any part of the pole sets. |

This result only shows how extra ordinary KSK is. The retirement of KSK team D, in my view their best ever team, gave the impression that this was the year KSK was going to be dethrone. This is not really a bad thing as this would be the perfect year an understrength KSK can give another team a go and ultimately good for the sport on Genting. This all change when KSK team F came out in the last round of the preliminaries. When team E came out the next day it really just confirmed most people's expectation. Although not as good as team D, what they did was just enough. With the lion head dancer only 16 yrs old, team E has a good chance of one day surpassing team D.
The teams that impressed me were: both Australian team, Thailand and Maldives. All have improve significantly. Disappointments for me would be the judging and the new rules. This has enable one of China's team to enter the top 8 which they did not really deserve. |
