I've been staying quiet on this forum lately. I just enjoy catching up every now and then by reading threads rather than obsessively hitting the refresh button and trying to reply to everything.

Anyway, I must bring up the Golden State Warriors right now before game 6. Cuban and the Mavs are going down. It's easily the best time to be a Warriors fan.

I wonder how many people on this forum are Dallas fans... I know your Warriors are out there

I've been a Mavs fan since the Nowitzki-Nash-Finley days. It gets quite frustrating to see how the Mavs are always so near yet so far. Last year when they finally defeated the Spurs and made it to the finals and were up 2-0, they HAD to choke and lose the next 4 games.

This year when they have an even more superb season, they look like they're gonna face an early exit Mad

But its not over yet...remember what happened to the Lakers-Suns series last playoffs. Very Happy

haha, sweet picture. As much as we might not care for the Rockets in the Bay Area, you can't deny it when the Oracle Arena sells out whenever the Rockets come to town just because of all the Asians here wanting to watch Yao do his thing.

I'm hoping for a Warriors vs. Rockets series as well. That should be a good one.

Boo, another year of disappointment for Dallas and Houston. Texas fans know disappointment. Oh well, go Spurs! And Warriors!

Rockets took a tough loss... You Texans got lots of options though.

I still say Go WARRIORS! I believe!!

I don't think our options give us any enjoyment. Cowboys? Houston Texans? Astros? Rangers?

I do admit the college athletics scene in Texas is pretty exciting, with Univ. of Texas and all its rivalries. It seems that several schools claims UT as its "arch-rival" (Oklahoma, Texas A&M) which is pretty sad because that means their school spirit completely revolves around their jealousy of another school. Hahaha.

The thing about the Bay Area is, once the sports season ends. . . you're still in the beautiful Bay Area!
